Our Mission

Resolved, that whereas the Democratic Party is the political party most associated with the values of equity and diversity in the United States of America

And, whereas the United States of America has experienced socio-economic upheaval and strife unlike any previously found in the nation’s history

And, whereas it is incumbent upon us as Democrats and moreover as Americans to address corruption and injustice wherever it may be found

And, whereas our stated aim, established in precedent has been to be inclusive and provide for our community, opportunity, and hope

And, whereas the essential duty of citizens in a democratic society is to lend voice to the values that preserve and protect the freedoms therein

Therefore, let this statement of mission in present and future forms provide for its signatories and observers at large a guide for the actions and motivations thereof in pursuit of the mission of the Jefferson County Democratic Party
